Board certified wound specialist (CWS®). Board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine, the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery and Medicine, and the American Board of Wound Management. He is staff podiatry/lower extremity wound specialist at the Indiana Regional Medical Center- Northern Cambria, Center for Wound Healing, Nason Hospital Wound Center as well as, a wound consultant at the Hollidaysburg Veteran’s Home-Skilled Nursing Home. He has multiple professional journal publications. He serves as Assistant Chief Editor for the Journal of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. He is Chairman of the Board of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialist (ACCWS). He is the former President of the American Board of Wound Management.
Received doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College. Received his Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Neuroscience in 1985 from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Practiced in the Altoona Area since 1991.
